Iman Shumpert signed with the New York Knicks in February 2012 to start his NBA career, although he missed most of the first season due to a litany of knee problems. Iman received 33 votes and came in fifth place in the 2012 NBA Rookie of the Year voting.
In 2013, he was permitted to take part in a team practice. He played his first game of the season on January 17 in London against the Detroit Pistons. On January 12, 2014, Shumpert suffered a dislocation of his left shoulder and missed three weeks of play with the squad.

The basketball player led the group to the NBA finals for the third time in a row in 2017, but the Golden State Warriors ultimately prevailed. Iman later joined the Sacramento Kings and has lately competed for them.
In addition, he played in more than 385 games throughout his basketball career. Additionally, he was a member of the ACC All-Freshman Team in 2009 and a McDonald’s All-American in 2008. In addition, he appreciates rap music. Additionally, in 2012, he published his debut song, “Knicks Anthem.”
