The first Bud Light advert starring Lemmon was released in 2017 and was last aired on April 19, 2018. The amusing ad-film began with the royal family's friends presenting gifts to the king and queen in a royal banquet.
The guests of the banquet cheered "Dilly, dilly!" as two guests come up to the royal couple with a case of Bud Light until, alas, one unfortunate friend bears a random spiced honey mead wine. According to Merriam Webster, "Dilly" is an obsolete adjective that means "delightful." Without a moment's hesitation, the crowd raised a Bud Light toast as the wine giver is banished to the pit of misery.
The whole sequence was oddly reminiscent of the third and fourth season of Game Of Thrones, especially the tyrant King Joffrey's reign. However, one cannot put an exact finger on which instance the ad film is based on.
