During her time as the White House correspondent for CBS, Paula covered various news including the Justice Department, legal affairs, and the White House. Her reporting was featured all over CBS News broadcasts as well as programs including the “CBS This Morning”, “CBS Evening News”, “Face the Nation”, CBS News Radio, CBSN, and CBS News’ 24/7 streaming news service. Paula’s interchange throughout the White House briefing had made news such as when the White House disclosed that President Trump though he could fire the Special Counsel and debunk the White House’s saying that its “Zero tolerance policy” is the law.
Also, she asked President Trump why he kept hiring people whom he believed are screwy and liars after Trump’s angry reaction to claims made by former National Security Adviser John Bolton in an impending book. The President did not answer her questions at the end of a White House roundtable. Earlier, Trump referred to Bolton as a “screwy” and also accused him of ruining negotiations with North Korea regarding the future of that country’s nuclear program.
