Patricia Terry Holland, the beloved wife of Elder Jeffrey R. Holland, died on July 20, 2023, at the age of 81. Patricia died following a brief hospitalization.
Elder Jeffrey R. Holland and Patricia Terry Holland are married. They exchanged vows in the St. George Utah Temple on June 7, 1963.
Patricia and Jeffrey Holland have had a loving and devoted relationship for more than 60 years. Throughout their marriage, they supported one another in both personal and professional endeavors.
In addition to holding numerous leadership positions in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Patricia played a key part in helping her husband obtain his academic degrees.
They worked together to raise their three kids in a home filled with love, humor, and faith.
Patricia’s unwavering support, perseverance, and dedication to her family and the gospel have inspired many others, and those who knew and loved her will carry on to commemorate her legacy.
The Holland household transformed into a haven of pleasure, devotion, and spiritual growth as a result of her love and dedication to her family.
Family mealtime conversations, as she had previously put it, are “a kind of family home evening filled with laughter, compliments, encouragement, interesting conversation, testimony, and expressions of love.” Her son is Elder Matthew Holland.
The loss of Patricia Holland leaves an enduring legacy of love, fidelity, and faith.
