Orlando Robinson Jr. joined the list of undrafted players that includes Jared Rhoden, John Butler, Scotty Pippen Jr., and Dominick Barlow by going undrafted in the 2022 NBA Draft. He signed an Exhibit-10 deal with the Miami Heat on July 7, 2022, and represented them during the preseason and the 2022 Summer League. On October 13, he was released.
Robinson signed a two-way contract with the Heat on November 13, 2022, only to have it voided on November 25 after just two NBA games. He then joined the Sioux Falls Skyforce, a G-league affiliate, and scored 20 points or more in 7 out of 10 Showcase Cup games. His 28-point performance against Motor City Cruise on December 9, 2022, marks a career high in the NBA G League. Subsequently, on December 11, 2022, he inked a new two-way deal with the Heats.
