One of South Korea’s up-and-coming performers, Ong Seong-wu is renowned for his honest style onstage. The singer was a member of the boy band Want One and was featured on the second season of the popular reality television program Produce 101.
Notable is his fifth-place performance on the aforementioned television program. Moreover, Ong Seong-wu has dabbled in modeling.
In the coming-of-age youth drama Moment at Eighteen, in which he made his dramatic debut as the main protagonist, fans appreciated his guarded demeanor.
Since then, he has appeared in a variety of plays and films, such as More Than Friends, Idol Fever, Would You Want a Cup of Coffee?, 20th Century Girl, Life is Beautiful, and others.
According to reports, the 27-year-old is in negotiations to participate in the upcoming thriller Strong Woman. Kang Nam Soon is the predecessor to the popular comedy-drama Strong Lady Do Bong Soon.
Starlight is Falling will feature him alongside Lee Yoo-mi and Byun Woo-suk, and he is also in talks for Jung Family’s Farm.
