Mr Chia has worked in other ministries before joining MAS, such as the Ministry of Trade and Industry, Public Service Division, and the then-Ministry of Environment and Water Resources.
The University of Oxford graduate was appointed Permanent Secretary (Development) at MOM in 2022.
