Fancher bonded out of jail Tuesday evening. According to the affidavit, Fancher had questioned the Police who arrived at his home about whether they could get in touch with the victims to collect payment for the damage.
Whether he could avoid being arrested and have the charges filed with the state attorney’s office in lieu of an arrest, and whether he could avoid having his picture taken.
After speaking with the police, Fancher called the school resource office at St. Cloud High School and admitted he “keyed a car in the Publix parking lot” and enquired about “how much trouble” he was in, according to the affidavit.
Fancher was detained on Tuesday as he met with officers at the Police station. He is accused of criminal mischief, having caused more than $1,000 in damage.
The school informed parents in a letter: “Mr. Fancher will be on administrative leave from the school until the outcome of the law enforcement investigation and accompanying actions are finalized.”
The school stated that because the incident is a law enforcement matter, it will not go into detail.
