Natasha Fatah was born on December 11, 1976, in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan, and moved to Canada when she was ten years old. She is 46 years old (as of 2022) and holds Canadian citizenship.
She was excited to come to Canada and was delighted to be welcomed by a crowd of pedestrians wearing bright red poppies pinned to their lapels. Natasha’s father, Tarek Fatah, is an internationally recognized author and secular Muslim activist who has been a major influence on her life.
Natasha earned her undergraduate degree from Ryerson University and went on to complete a Master’s degree in journalism from the University of Toronto. She has always been passionate about journalism and has pursued this career path with great determination and commitment.
