Jeremy Pruitt is a married man. On May 24, 2014, he married his fiancée, Casey East, precisely a year after he proposed. Jeremy and Casey met in 2013 while Jeremy was working at Florida State University. He’d been appointed as the school’s defensive coordinator, while Casey was a new hire in the school’s compliance department, which verifies student acceptance and assures the school complies with NCAA laws and regulations.
One fine day, the coach invited Casey out on a date, but she rejected. Mrs. Pruitt explained, “I have a rule about dating people I work with.” On the other hand, Jeremy is not about to relinquish her easily. She was “tricked” into a date with the coach when she was invited out to celebrate a good recruiting day. Later that night, everyone left, leaving only the couple. Ridge Thacker Pruitt was born in 2015 to Mr. and Mrs. Pruitt and is named after Jeremy’s grandmother. Their second son, Flynt Anderson-Foster Pruitt, was born two years later. The middle name of their second child is in honor of two of Pruitt’s Alabama linebackers, Ryan Anderson and Reuben Foster. They welcomed their third child, a daughter, into the Pruitt family in January 2020.
