Through his father’s prior unions, Luther has two half-siblings. His first half-name brother was originally Charles Manson Jr., but he changed it to Jay White.
In order to separate himself from his father’s negative reputation, Jay changed his name. In 1993, he committed suicide by shooting himself on a remote Kansas roadway.
Valentine Michael Manson is the second half-brother of this individual. Like his half-brothers Luther and Charles Jr., Valentine did not retain his father’s name for long.
In 1970, his grandparents petitioned the court for guardianship, which was granted. In addition, he adopted the name, Michael Brunner.
