Michael Lerner was born on June 22, 1941, to his parents, Blanche and George Lerner, in Brooklyn, New York, U.S. He was of American nationality and had Romanian-Jewish descent.
Lerner rarely used to talk about his family in the media. Once he said that his dad liked to think he was an antique dealer. In actuality, he was a junk dealer.
Furthermore, Lerner was not only the child of his parents, as he was raised alongside his brother, Ken Lerner. His brother is also engaged in the entertainment line, and his notable works can be seen in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Happy Days.
Lerner was the eldest of two kids, and they were raised in Red Hook, Brooklyn and Solon, Ohio. Moreover, Lerner’s nephew Sam and niece Jenny are also actors. Sam has been working as an Actor since 1997 and is famous for his work in The Goldbergs.
