The great basketball player’s parents are Jessica King and David Austin. Her parents are really proud to be her parents. She carries the title of being the oldest of her five siblings.

Ashley Austin Austin identifies as Black and is very proud of both her background and the rich range of Black culture. Her experiences both on and off the basketball court are influenced by her Blackness, which is a significant aspect of her identity.
She encourages and motivates other young people from similar situations as a Black athlete.

She acts as a role model, dismantling boundaries and demonstrating that with hard work and perseverance, aspirations may come true.
