Matt Braunger began his career in several comedy festivals such as Just For Laughs, The Las Vegas Comedy Festival, and the Rooftop Comedy Festival in Aspen, Colorado, where he won Best of the Fest in 2007. On July 14, 2009, he released his first stand-up comedy album, Soak Up The Night, on Comedy Central Records. Big Dumb Animal, Shovel Fighter, and other comedies are among his other credits.

Matt first appeared in the American single-camera comedy series Carpoolers in 2007, playing the role of Patient. In addition, from 2008 to 2009, he played a variety of characters in the sketch comedy series MADtv.
