Clunes married Philippa Braithwaite in the latter part of that year; she would later work as the show’s producer. In 1999, Braithwaite gave birth to their daughter Emily.
Since 2013, Clunes and his family have lived in Beaminster, Dorset, where they run a farm with strong horses. Martin Clunes and Philippa Braithwaite have been married since 1997.
