Mark Parrish is a retired ice hockey player best remembered for his time in the National Hockey League. During his career, he was a member of the Florida Panthers, the New York Islanders, and the Minnesota Wild.
Parrish, who was born on February 2, 1977, in Bloomington, Minnesota, is 44 years old. He went to Bloomington Jefferson High School and won two Minnesota State Championships while there. He is Gene and Barb Parrish’s son.
From 1995 to 1997, Parrish played collegiate hockey for Saint Cloud State University. He won a silver medal as a member of the World Junior Championship Team in 1996 and 1997. He was also a member of the World Championships Team in 2001 and 2005.
He was a member of the United States Olympic Team in 2006. For his cooperation with the media, Parrish received the ‘Good Guy Award’ from the LI branch of the New York Writers’ Association. Parrish currently works as a studio analyst for the NHL Network.
