Mark Alford is an American journalist currently working at FOX4 in Kansas City, Missouri, as a news anchor. He co-anchors FOX4 News from 6:30 Am to 9 Am with Abby Eden and later co-anchors FOX4 News at 9 Am and in the afternoon with Kim Byrnes. Mark joined the news channel in March 1998. Prior to joining FOX4 news, he worked at KPRC-TV in Houston, Texas as a weekend anchor and general assignment reporter. He has also worked at KDFW-TV in Dallas, Texas, where he was a news anchor.
Mark has received a number of awards and gained recognition during his career. He has received recognition from the Associated Press and twice by the Rocky Mountain Press. Outside the studio, he spends time with his wife Leslie and runs their Lonestar Ranch horse stables that are located in South Kansas City. He also goes hiking with his grandson.
