Following her husband’s death, Marie is living alone. Her ex-husband, Freddie Joe Ward, was her husband at one point. Her husband was an actor and producer by trade. The two must have met through a mutual friend. In 1995, after dating for a while, they eventually said their wedding vows.
Marie filed for divorce from her spouse in August 2013 after 18 years of marriage. However, later that year, the two reunited. After the reconciliation, they were enjoying a joyful and carefree life. Her joy was short-lived, however, as her husband Fred had to leave this world.
