Marcus Lemonis was known as Marc Anthony Lemonis when he ran for the Florida House in 1996. He lost to a two-term Republican, with 42.44 percent of the vote to 57.56 percent for the other party.
Anthony Abraham Chevrolet is the name of his grandfather’s car dealership in South Florida. He later changed his career path and started working at the dealership. Car dealer AutoNation bought the business from him in 1997. He was a manager under the new owner.
A family friend, Lee Iaccoca, told him that he wanted to build the largest RV chain in the world. During that time, he was also CEO of Holiday RV Superstore Inc. from June 2001 to February 2003. After a few years, Camping World and Good Sam Enterprise merged with the company. In 2011, Good Sam Enterprise bought the company.
As for the new companies, he was still in charge of both of them. Starting with NBC’s Celebrity Apprentice, Lemonis then appeared on a lot of TV shows that were on the air. CNBC’s The Profit was a show that he was the star of in 2013. Lemonis’s net worth is thought to be around $500 million.
