After graduating from Stanford University and earning his Master’s degree from Pembroke College in Oxford, Marc Mezvinsky began his career in the world of finance. He joined Goldman Sachs as an emerging foreign market exchange strategist, where he honed his skills in investment banking.
During his time at Goldman Sachs, Marc worked on the global macro proprietary trading desk, gaining valuable experience in the intricacies of global financial markets. His expertise and dedication to his work quickly made him a respected figure in the field.
In 2011, Marc decided to venture out on his own and founded his own hedge fund, Eaglevale Partners. The fund focused on investments in commodities, currencies, and bonds, and quickly gained a reputation for its successful strategies and strong performance.
“Starting Eaglevale Partners was a significant milestone in my career. It allowed me to apply my knowledge and skills in investment banking to managing my own fund, and it was a fulfilling experience.”
Unfortunately, Eaglevale Partners closed its doors in 2016, but this did not deter Marc from pursuing his passion for finance. He joined Social Capital as Vice Chairman, further expanding his expertise in the industry.
In 2019, Marc made another career move and joined TPG Capital as a managing director. TPG Capital is a leading global private equity firm, and Marc’s role as a managing director allows him to contribute his extensive knowledge and experience to the company’s investment strategies.
