Danny and Asake got hitched in 1975. Before getting married, they had a long relationship. She gave birth to a stunning daughter in 1976. Mandisa Glover is the name of her daughter.
Her marriage ended after 25 years of marriage. She is currently a single woman but never acknowledges having been married. She was, according to Glover, his first love, and he was thrilled to wed her. Jazz vocalist Bomani had Danny in awe.
She gave Danny financial support when he quit his work as an assessor in 1970 to join the Black Actors Workshop at the American Conservatory Theatre.
