Jay and Wendy’s son, Anthony Scot Bilas, was born on September 23, 1996, in Charlotte, North Carolina. Anthony, like his father, had a passion for basketball. He went to Charlotte Latin School and lettered for the Hawks three years straight. He continued his basketball career at Wake Forest University, where he played for four years and graduated in 2019.
Anthony played 23 games for the Demon Deacons. Jay interviewed Anthony on College Game Day, which was a fantastic opportunity for father and son. Jay shared this amusing discussion on Twitter. After finishing his academic education, Anthony started working with the NBA as a Project Employee in 2019.
He collaborated with Digital Products on the Jr. NBA and Jr. NBA Global Championships. In 2022, he started as a Sports Researcher for CBS Sports. Jay and Anthony’s close friendship is evident, as Jay never misses an opportunity to say something hilarious on his son’s birthday. In reply, Anthony continues to giggle by insulting his father’s bald head. It has become a running family joke.
