Due to the divorce of her parents, Liza was raised by her Filipino grandparents in Visalia, California, for a considerable amount of her childhood.
She took in their affection and their treasured cultural heritage there. Despite her childhood struggles, Liza always had a passion for studying.
From a young age, she had an interest in science and desired to pursue additional study in the area.
Liza’s life took a dramatic turn when she relocated to Manila, Philippines when she was eleven years old. She reestablished her Filipino ancestry in this thriving city.
Liza’s devotion and resolve never faltered in the face of the difficulties she faced upon migrating to a new nation and acclimating to a new way of life.
