A singing quartet called “Cimorelli” was formed in 2007 by Lisa Cimorelli and her four sisters, Christina, Katherine, Lauren, and Amy. The vocal group used to cover a few hit songs in the beginning and post them to their YouTube page. They subsequently published their debut extended play.

Each song on the EP was written by her sisters Lauren and Christina, with Lisa providing the vocal harmonies. Dani, her younger sister, then joined the group as well.
