Liam Payne was born on August 29, 1993, in Wolverhampton, England. He grew up with two older sisters and had a passion for music and performance from a young age. As a child, Payne dealt with health issues, including a kidney condition that required frequent hospital visits and injections. Despite his health challenges, he was active in sports, particularly cross country running, and he was a member of the Wolverhampton and Bilston Athletics Club. He also took up boxing lessons to build his confidence and handle bullying at school. Payne attended St. Peter’s Collegiate School and later studied music technology at City of Wolverhampton College.
