Jon Scheyer, Marcelle’s husband, was born in Northbrook, Illinois, on August 24, 1987. His parents Jim Scheyer and Laury Scheyer raised him.
Scheyer comes from a Jewish family. He is the youngest of Jim and Laury’s three children. Jenifer Scheyer and Brooke Scheyer are Jon’s two sisters.
Jon, who is 6 feet 5 inches tall, graduated from Glenbrook North and enrolled at Duke University. He has played basketball since he was in school.
Scheyer now serves as the men’s head coach for Duke. While a professional athlete, he had impressive statistics.
