Banda came to the US because she was passionate about performing arts. She hosted the Televisa newscast in Monterrey before. Her role in “El Gordo y La Flaca” was as a reporter.
On August 21, 1988, Karina Banda was born into a working-class household in Salamanca, Guanajuato, Mexico. Most of her childhood was spent in Monterrey, Nuevo León. The Angels High School was her school of study.
She began working at the Sacramento Univision local after relocating to the United States, and soon after, the national network signed her. She attended Tvi Actors Studio in California to study acting. After that, Banda moved to Miami.
Karina Banda took Anna Patricia’s place on the Univision network’s reality series Falling in Love in June 2021.
She also works with the TUDN and El Gordo y la Flaca programs, and she is a member of the Sal y Pimienta team.
She has also contributed to the television programs Balon de Oro de la Liga MX, La Gran Sorpresa, Republica Mundialista Russia, and Los 10 Mejores. In the Fracturas del Corazon (2011) music video, she also played the role of Kate.
