Thomas, like Karen, has been portrayed as a critical father-in-law on the show. He rarely approved of Pedro. Pedro, who was in the country on a K-1 visa, was accused by him and his wife of “harvesting” the American dollar by living in the country with Chantel. They were suspicious because he returned all of his earnings to the Dominican Republic.
Not to mention, the Everett seniors claimed Pedro’s family was taking advantage of their daughter to “take advantage of an American and the American dollar.”
Aside from these, Thomas has been far more secretive than any other TLC show member.
