Costi Hinn is a popular American Pastor at Redeemer Bible Church in Gilbert, Arizona, author, and a relative of the famed prosperity gospel televangelist named Benny Hinn. Currently, Costi works as a Pastor of Preaching & Teaching at Shepherd’s House Bible Church in Chandler, AZ.
He is Benny’s nephew and grew up in his uncle’s ministry, but abandoned the family business as he came to see the harmful side of its theological teaching. He details the story of his experience in a new, upcoming book titled God, Greed and the (Prosperity) Gospel, and sat down with RELEVANT to discuss his story and the way the prosperity gospel impacts the beliefs of Christians in small ways even those who allege they don’t trust it.
