Josh Richards received backlash in late April 2020 after flashing his “junk” while participating in an IG Live challenge. He joked at first that the incident was nothing short of legendary. However, as the backlash mounted, the social media sensation issued a lengthy apology. Josh claimed in it that the flashing was an accident.
Josh had gained notoriety a month before for his diss track directed at Hype House member Bryce Hall. By April 30th, 2020, the music video for the song “SOFTISH” had received 16 million views.
