Josh started his stand-up comedy career when he was nine years old. The first film in the series was Hairspray (1988). The next year, he starred in the Oscar-winning film Dead Poets Society. Among his starred films are Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead, Threesome, Pie in the Sky, Muppets from Space, S.W.A.T., Four Brothers, I Smiled Back, The Drowning, The Good Wife, and more.
His television career took off in the late 1990s. On the long-running show Sports Night, Dan Rydell has a memorable role. In 2009, he became well-known as a result of his appearance on The Good Wife Show. He watches television episodes like Six Degrees, Law & Order: Special Victims, Master of Sex, and Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp while in therapy.
In January 2006, he appeared in the world premiere of Richard Greenberg’s The Well-Appointed Room at Chicago’s Steppenwolf Theatre Company, followed by a run at San Francisco’s American Conservatory Theater, where he played the cloned brothers in Caryl Churchill’s A Number. In 2007, he made his Broadway debut in Adam Bock’s The Receptionist at the Manhattan Theatre Club. The narrator of NFL Network’s “A Football Life,” a documentary about New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick, was Charles in 2011.
