Minyone blamed the shooting on a bad prescription. He reportedly attended a hospital appointment with his mother on Wednesday when he opened Fire. It is said that he went for a new medication for his anxiety.
Deion’s mother reported that her son wanted Ativan, a benzodiazepine used to treat anxiety. While talking with the Daily Beast, Minyone said, “The damn VA gave him some messed up medication.”
