He currently serves as the Chief Meteorologist for FOX 45 News in Baltimore. Jonathan reports FOX 45’s weekday newscasts at 4 p.m., 5 p.m., 6 p.m., 10 p.m., and 11 p.m. Previously, he served as a Noon and 5 PM Meteorologist for the CBS affiliate in New Orleans known as WWL-TV. His career journey started in New York State where he worked at WROC-TV in Rochester as well as WETM-TV in Elmira.
Jonathan has been recognized with the American Meteorological Society`s (AMS) Certified Broadcast Meteorologist (CBM) Seal, the AMS being the most distinguished mark of distinction, for his forecast. Additionally, he has also obtained the National Weather Association (NWA) Seal of Approval for Television. Jonathan is also a full member of the American Meteorological Society as well as the National Weather Association.
He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology with specialties in forecasting, tropical meteorology, and local-scale meteorology from Penn State University. In addition, he also teaches classes in Meteorology at Community College of Baltimore County and Townson University.
