Jonathan Silent Hill married for the second time to Deven Davis, a former porn star and model. On the beautiful island of Hawaii, on October 10, 2004, the couple exchanged wedding vows.
On March 18, 2005, the couple welcomed their first child, a son named Pirate Howsmon Davis, and on April 28, 2007, they welcomed their second son, Zeppelin Howsmon Davis. All of his children were given the surname Howsmon as a middle name.
After a few years, Jonathan and his wife Davis’s relationship began to deteriorate. In December 2016, the singer filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences.
However, the relationship took an even worse turn when Jonathan filed for a domestic violence restraining order against Deven. The order was granted, and Deven was barred from seeing their two children or their family dog, Chaos.
The order, however, was not carried out because Deven died on August 17, 2018, as a result of an accidental overdose. She joined a long list of celebrities who died as a result of a drug overdose, including John Belushi and Verne Troyer.
Deven had been struggling with substance abuse for the past two decades. She ingested a lethal combination of five different drugs, according to the autopsy report. In a lengthy tweet, Jonathan finally opened up about his estranged wife’s death. He began his tweet by saying:
“There has been a lot of speculation about what happened in the aftermath of my wife’s death, Deven, and I want my voice to be heard.” My wife has been ill for the past decade. Her addiction was a side effect of a serious mental illness. I adored her with every fiber of my being. She was an amazing wife, mother, and friend when she was her true self.”
He ended the tweet by reaffirming his love for her and promising that when his time on Earth is up, he will be by her side.
