Born in February 1962, John Lauro grew up in New York. In 2023, he will be 61 years old.He graduated from Georgetown University with a magna cum laude. While attending college, he was chosen to serve as an Advisory Neighbourhood Commissioner for the District of Columbia. After earning his magna cum laude degree from Georgetown University Law Center, he worked as an editor for the Georgetown Law Journal when he was a law student. John F. Lauro relocated to New York after graduating and started working for the esteemed global law firm Morgan, Lewis & Bockius. After that, he also employed by the US Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York in the criminal division.
