Regarding the interview, Powers faced backlash for his remarks on bisexuality during an interview with Hollywood Unlocked.
In the interview, he was asked about the wildest rumors he had heard about himself, including one suggesting he is bisexual.
In response, Powers expressed surprise, stating, “There’s such a thing as bisexual for men? I think you’re either gay or straight, personally.”
“To each his own. I’ve seen that before, how can someone just take that and do that.”
As the interview circulated swiftly, fans duly criticized Powers, pointing out the problematic nature of his comments on social media.
