He married Sue Solie, an art director, in 1997. Within a year of their marriage, James and Sue had given birth to a son.
He is currently residing in Palm Beach, Florida, with Sue and Jack in a beautiful home. James works from home seven days a week. His artistic technique dictates that he solely uses pencils to express himself on paper. He never uses a computer to write. His son’s aversion to reading prompted him to compose the middle school series. Jack is, without a doubt, his new young inspiration.
