Crawford was selected by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2000 NBA Draft. The eighth overall pick by the group was him. Later, he was dealt to the Chicago Bulls in exchange for Chris Mihm. Crawford can only play in 23 games in the NBA’s second season due to an injury. The numbers from the games he had played, though, were remarkable.
In the fourth season, Crawford spent his final NBA campaign with the Chicago Bulls. Then he was given the starting shooting guard position. Jamal Crawford compiled a strong resume while playing with the Chicago Bulls. He continued to maintain a 17.3 rating and a strong 3.5 rebound score.
Atlanta Hawks acquired Crawford in 2009. Despite making it to the playoffs, the club hadn’t yet achieved season success. On January 15, 2010, Jamal showed off his basketball skills by defeating the Phoenix Suns. Reggie Miller’s previous high for the most four-point plays was even exceeded by Crawford. This record was surpassed on February 3 of the same year during a contest against the Los Angeles Clippers.
In order to replace Mike Woodson as the Hawks’ coach, Larry Drew was sacked. This resulted from a falling average while he was the Hawks coach. Even at this late date, Crawford had a tremendous score to impress the new coach. The Sixth Man of the Year Award eluded him.
2018 saw Jamal admitted into the Phoenix Suns roster. This switch took place on October 17. During this time, he set a career high in assists while leading the squad to a victory over the New York Knicks.
