With the 1976 film “A Matter of Time,” Isabella Rossellini made her acting debut opposite her mother in a small part as a nun. She was then cast in the 1979 movie “Il Prato,” then in Renzo Arbore’s movie “Il pap’occhio.”

When she was 28 years old, she began modeling.
