Lewis Hamilton and Alexander Hamilton come from different ethnic backgrounds.
Lewis Hamilton’s ethnicity is mixed. To illustrate, his father is Black British, and his mother is White British.
Hamilton has spoken publicly about the racism he has experienced as a Black man in Formula One and has become an advocate for racial justice.
In contrast, Alexander Hamilton was born in the British West Indies, and his mother was of British and French Huguenot descent. Alexander’s father was of Scottish and French descent.
Although Alexander was not Black, he was born and raised in a part of the world where slavery was widespread and was an outspoken opponent of slavery.
He also advocated for immigrants and believed in the power of a diverse society. So, this is another strengthening point that connects Lewis and Alexander.
