Although fans are glad that Young Sheldon is uncovering a few Big Big Theory Easter eggs, they’re not quite sure how to feel about George Sr.’s possible affair with Brenda. Some fans were sad to see the Cooper family fall apart but others appreciated the realism. 

One viewer tweeted, “I thought tonight’s episode was very funny! especially with Meemaw’s cookies bit, which we know Sheldon loves. I think it’s important to show not only life’s happy moments, but difficult ones too. It helps viewers who have experienced similar situations feel seen and understood."

We'll just have to wait and see what happens after the Cooper family fallout when the show returns for Season 5!
