Born in 1977, the Spanish model Moira Gough is 47 years old.
At 23 years old, Moira sensed that she had already reached the pinnacle of the fashion world.
Coupled with a personal crisis, she accepted a proposition to spend a couple of months in Mexico. All these years later, Gough still resides there.
She tied the knot with Carlos Puente, a national deputy of the Green Party for Zacatecas, and together they are parents to their daughter Mía.
Her life is remarkably different and content, following a journey through numerous challenging moments.
In a conversation with LA NACION, she reflected on her beginnings and shed light on the events that have transpired over the last twenty years.
Gough’s transition to life in Mexico wasn’t initially planned to be a lifelong move away from her family.
However, upon arriving, she discovered a sense of self and comfort that she needed.
Due to her personality, Moira found herself suppressing her problems and emotions, leading to eating disorders and a loss of interest in life.
Even in difficult moments, the Mexican culture’s vibrant happiness and positive outlook impressed her.
Fortunately, Moira had a supportive and loving husband, Carlos Puente, who stood by her side through thick and thin.
