After undergoing treatment for intestinal Cancer, Tina Turner faced a setback in 2016 when her health took a turn for the worse.
She sought alternative remedies but unfortunately experienced total kidney failure as a result. In her memoir, Turner expressed remorse for her choices and praised her husband, Erwin Bach, for his unwavering support during this difficult time.
Bach selflessly donated his kidney to save Turner’s life, and the operation, which took place in April 2017, was largely successful. However, Turner continued to experience mild symptoms, including nausea and dizziness, as her body occasionally tried to reject the donor’s kidney.

Despite these ongoing challenges, Turner remained committed to following her doctors’ orders and trusted in their therapies to ensure her continued well-being.
