Grace’s star grew with numerous appearances on music programs. She has published English-language songs and albums that have enthralled Europe as well.
She sang “Als Je slaapt,” a song she penned for her son Anthony, on a Dutch television program. Throughout her career, she has also recorded singles in both Dutch and English. “Afscheid,” one of her songs, received a gold certification in the Netherlands.
Even an album and DVD with a collection of the songs she performed live at a private concert were made available. Her first Platinum record was the album.
She garnered greater recognition and prizes with her later releases. She recorded singles in 2012, some of which went on to become hits. One of her songs, “Will you not stay one more night,” was written for a foundation that fights child abuse, and all sales earnings went to the organization.
This remarkable singer first gained international attention after Nicki Minaj praised her rendition of Whitney Houston’s “Run to You,” after which she was no longer merely a household name in her home country.
