Amie Harwick was discovered dead near her apartment building on February 15, 2020. Harwick also fell from her apartment’s third-floor balcony. There were possible indications of a scuffle and an intruder at the site, according to authorities. Furthermore, Amie had already requested and secured a restraining order against her ex-boyfriend, Gareth Pursehouse. Amie was also concerned that he might hurt her. In fact, the restraining order was set to expire just two weeks before Amie died.
According to Amie’s neighbor, they saw a man dressed in black jump off the walls and flee the house. They then recognized the man as Gareth and quickly denounced him to the police. Furthermore, Gareth was not apprehended at his residence. However, he was later apprehended.
