Todd Scherer, 65, is no more with us, and as mentioned earlier, the boy named Logan Horse Hunts, famously known as Horse Hunts, was apprehended and brought to the Hall County jail on suspicion of killing.
According to the sources, Hunts Horse and other teenagers were involved. Similarly, both Hunts and the teenager went to Walmart after the shooting. And when they returned from the store, they found the former Trainer was still alive.
So, Hunts Horse again hit Scherer in the head with a baseball bat. Todd’s wallet was also missing from his pants, and Hunts and his girlfriend split the cash in the wallet.
The GIPD Captain Dean Elliott said this must be a pre-planned murder; the victim and the suspects knew each other from before, and it wasn’t a random attack.
The boy was found by police shortly asleep in another tack room in the same barn. Further, police found a handgun in the crime areas, which is believed to be a murder weapon. Further investigation is ongoing, and the authorities are working on the additional witnesses.
