Over the course of the movie, Ziggy has several brushes with death. She gets through the witch-burning scene with minor injuries. As the narrative unfolds, the stakes become higher — and for a brief second, it does appear that she may not make it through. Nick, the future sheriff of the city, comes to Ziggy's rescue, saving her life by giving her CPR.

Her story helps Deena (Kiana Madeira) and Josh (Benjamin Flores Jr.) reevaluate their game plan. Toward the end of the movie, they head to the mall to return Sarah Fier's hand with the rest of her body. Unfortunately, the breakthrough also comes with an unexpected discovery that sets the tone for the third movie, Fear Street Part Three: 1666.

Fear Street Part One: 1994 and Fear Street Part Two: 1978 are available on Netflix now. Fear Street Part Three: 1666 will become available on Netflix on July 16, 2021.
