He joined Fox News in 1996 and works as a New York-based anchor and senior correspondent. In addition, Eric is the anchor of America’s News Headquarters. Moreover, he is also the host of Riddle: The Search for James R. Hoffa on FOX Nation, FNC’s on-demand subscription-based streaming service, which is based on his substantial reporting into the appearance of notorious Teamsters boss Jimmy Hoffa.
Throughout his time at FNC, Eric has frequently reported from the United Nations as well as specialized in politics and terrorism, including anchoring hour-long news specials on topics ranging from election coverage to breaking news as well as investigative documentaries. In addition, he also covered September 11 from Ground Zero for months after the towers collapsed and later covered additional U.S. terror cases.
In the year 2004, he led a Fox News investigation that revealed new evidence in the murder of Teamsters leader Jimmy Hoffa, based on the affirmation of hit-man Frank Sheeran, who confessed to Eric, and his biography that he was responsible for shooting Hoffa in a house in Detroit. The investigation showed a “blood pattern” on the floor of the house that matched Sheeran’s story exactly.
Before that, he reported on the Iraq War diplomatic developments at the United Nations, the O.J. Simpson murder trial, the death of Princess Diana, The Michael Skakel trial, and other breaking news all over the globe.
Before joining FNC, Eric worked for Fox News Edge as a correspondent where he covered various breaking news stories such as the Unabomber arrest, the siege in Waco, Texas, and the TWA flight 800 crash, among many others. Prior to that, he also worked for WNYW-TV (FOX) in New York as a reporter. In addition, Eric also worked for WPIX-TV and WNYC-TV in New York, as an anchor and reporter.
