Eric, it appears, enjoyed the business and thus entered the business field. This is demonstrated by the fact that he graduated from Harvard in 1988 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. Following that, he continued to work at Goldman Sachs, where he became the firm’s youngest partner in history at the age of 27.
In 2003, he rose through the ranks to become the firm’s senior strategic officer. Eric Mindich subsequently founded Eton Parkcapital management in early 2004, with over $ 3 billion in the capital, making it one of the largest start-up fund launches in history. He later suffered considerable losses in 2016, prompting him to close his business in 2017.
Eric Mindich is an active philanthropist, serving as President of the Lincoln Center Theater Board of Directors, donating to Harvard, and serving on the Mount Sinai Hospital Board of Trustees. His charitable endeavors are numerous.
