Tim and Gaynor Edwards, Elle Edwards’ parents, have been devastated by the untimely loss of their darling daughter in the Wallasey Pub Shooting.
Professional photographer Tim Edwards has been actively advocating against gun and knife violence, contributing his voice and support to efforts like the Guns Down, Gloves Up movement.
In honor of Elle, he has acknowledged the urgent need for change. And is participating in a walking challenge to collect donations for this cause. Gaynor Edwards, Elle’s mother, has been a rock of fortitude during this difficult period, attending church services. And other events commemorating her daughter.
Together with Tim and their families, they have become outspoken opponents of gun and knife violence. And putting their grief into action and working to raise awareness and effect change in their community.
Elle Edwards’ funeral was held at St. Nicholas Church in Wallasey on February 25, 2023. As mourners lined the streets, Tim Edwards carried his daughter’s casket into the church. Following the church service, a private memorial service was held at Landican Cemetery and Crematory to say goodbye to Elle.
